At a time when the society was conservative and believed in "Na Stree Swathanthryam Arhathi", a group of enterprising ladies of Malleswaram locality came together to start a society, which would provide an opening to the women of the locality, to give expression to their hidden talents and to provide an opening to the women of the locality, to give expression to their hidden talents and to provide an opportunity to empower themselves.
Malleswaram Ladies' Association also runs many other courses in the evening such as Bharathanatyam Classes, Yoga Classes, Drawing, Painting and Music Classes.
The Association has grown from strength to strength and today it is a landmark Institution in imparting quality education. |
